Pre-school

Pre-school

Playgroup takes place in the Lower Hall and Pre-school in the Upper Hall at St Martin’s Parish Centre.

Pre-school is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am – 3pm.

Pre-school children can attend Playgroup on a Thursday.

Children attend Pre-school the year before they start school.

At Pre-school the children work in small groups and are introduced to pre-reading and writing skills.  They participate in daily PE sessions and they take a library book home every day to read.  On a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon they can attend Forest School.

Pre-school is an excellent preparation for School.
